Requests for repeat prescriptions should be in writing and made in one of the following ways:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip off at the practice with the required items clearly marked.
  • By post - your prescription can then be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice or send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we'll post it back to you.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.  You will be able to add your medication to a request list by selecting medication from a drop down menu.  If your medication type or strength is not listed, you can add free text.
  • SystmOnline - to become an online user please call into the Surgery and complete a registration form. Please bring two form of ID with you. All medications on your template will automatically show for requesting.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
